Construction Project Manager

GFT is seeking a ConstructionProject Manager to join our Construction Services Team in Wilmington, NC! This role requires regular attendance at our Wilmington, NC office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Construction Project Manager who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role highlights a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.

• Prepares and monitors project schedules.

• Performs periodic construction observation and inspection checks.

• Possesses basic surveying interpretation skills.

• Prepares reports and correspondence.

• Prepares and checks quantities for measurement and payment purposes.

• Prepares construction payment applications.

• Negotiates and prepares construction change orders.

• Reviews submittals and other technical data.

• Proficient with construction management software for document management and scheduling.

• Performs constructabilityreviews and value engineering studies.

• Assists with Risk Management assessments.

• Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.

• Occasional Travel to and from project sites is expected.
