A1 (Lead Audio Engineer) – Touring Production

DESCRIPTION

• Lead the installation, configuration, operation, and strike of the touring audio system.

• Coordinate venue-specific audio system deployment and integration with house systems as required.

• Mix performances or supervise playback systems to ensure consistent show quality throughout the tour.

• Program, configure, and maintain digital consoles, DSP processors, wireless microphone systems, playback systems, and show control as required.

• Tune and optimize the PA system for each venue using industry-standard measurement and alignment tools.

• Troubleshoot audio, networking, RF, and system issues quickly and efficiently during load-in, rehearsals, performances, and load-out.

• Supervise and direct the A2 and local stagehands during all audio department operations.

• Coordinate microphone placement, RF frequency coordination, monitor systems, and communications systems.

• Maintain accurate show files, backups, documentation, and venue-specific system notes.

• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all audio equipment remains tour-ready.

SALARY

$1,800.00 – $2,000.00 per week
