Role Overview
Seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop a Python-based automation framework for the ProCuity hospital bed gateway module, which transmits bed data to hospital applications. The primary focus is converting existing manual tests into automated processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert manual test procedures into automated Python scripts using Pytest.
- Perform API testing using ReadyAPI and validate data communication.
- Test CAN communication and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Work hands-on with circuit boards, hardware products, and test fixtures.
- Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Python and test automation experience.
- Experience with Pytest, ReadyAPI, and API testing.
- Hands-on CAN protocol experience is required.
- Experience testing physical hardware products, embedded systems, or electronic devices.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred: Wi-Fi/RF testing, GitHub, Jenkins, and HTTP/SOAP web services experience.
Background: Automotive and consumer electronics candidates are encouraged.
