Scientist I
12-month Contract
Onsite in Cambridge, MA
Requirements
- Contribute within a fast-paced research environment supporting therapeutic areas including immunology, rare disease, and neuroscience.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams within the therapeutics modalities department.
- Execute multi-step processes independently and proactively while communicating progress effectively through oral and written communication.
- Enable efficient organization of reagents and studies, including documentation and data reporting activities.
- Monitor protein reagent storage and distribution across the department.
- Perform crystallization workflows or straightforward biophysical analysis workflows.
- Support crystal storage and shipping activities.
- Demonstrate diligence in equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and proactive ordering of laboratory supplies.
- Provide support for day-to-day laboratory management activities.
- Contribute to general laboratory organization and adherence to laboratory safety best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in an industrial and/or academic laboratory setting.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel.
