Purpose
Serve as the DMPK project representative, providing scientific leadership to advance small-molecule drug discovery programs. Lead DMPK strategy, guide research efforts, collaborate with internal teams, manage CRO activities, and act as a subject matter expert in ADME/PKPD.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent DMPK on cross-functional project teams
- Provide expert guidance on ADME, PK/PD, DDI, and data interpretation
- Troubleshoot complex scientific issues and make independent decisions
- Design, oversee, and interpret DMPK studies, including CRO-executed work
- Analyze data, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Contribute to manuscripts, project documents, and milestone materials
- Participate in global collaborations and scientific meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 16 years experience, Master’s with 10 , or PhD with 6
- Strong understanding of ADME principles; PK/PD modeling or biotransformation desirable
- Must have 3 years of project management experience
- Experience in outsourced or hybrid ADME models preferred
- Must have experience with small molecules and early discovery
