Skilled Carpenter / Deck Builder – Full-TimeOverview

GForce Home Solutions LLC is a growing residential construction and remodeling company serving Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

We are looking for a skilled, dependable carpenter to join our team and help with residential deck builds and other carpentry projects.

This is not a general labor position. We are looking for someone who already has hands-on carpentry experience, understands how to work efficiently on a jobsite, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Residential deck construction and rebuilding
• Deck framing and layout
• Installing joists, beams, posts, and blocking
• Installing composite and wood decking
• Installing railings and stairs
• Measuring, cutting, and laying out materials accurately
• Demolition and structural repairs
• General residential carpentry
• Loading and unloading materials
• Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite
• Assisting with other residential remodeling projects as needed

Requirements

• Previous carpentry or construction experience
• Deck building and framing experience strongly preferred
• Reliable personal transportation is required
• Comfortable using common power and hand tools
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work efficiently without constant supervision
• Able to work well as part of a crew
• Professional behavior while working at clients' homes
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work

Having your own tools is a plus.

We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, follows instructions, and takes pride in their work.

Experience

Previous carpentry or residential construction experience is required.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Deck building
• Structural framing
• Composite decking
• Railing systems
• Stairs
• Finish carpentry
• Kitchen or bathroom remodeling

You don't need to know everything, but you should have a solid carpentry foundation and be willing to continue learning.

Pay: $200.00 - $350.00 per day
