The consultant will lead system design (chain, sprockets, guides, tensioners), engineering analysis (chain load, dynamics, wear, fatigue, NVH), guide simulation and test correlation, define and execute DV/PV plans, support design verification reviews, customer audits, and technical sign-offs, and ensure complete approval for OEM programs. The role also includes driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues such as chain elongation, sprocket wear, and tensioner performance, representing the company in OEM technical discussions, and developing internal design and validation standards while mentoring the engineering team. Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering background with 15 years of hands-on experience in timing chain drive systems, strong exposure to OEM development and approval processes, and proven capability to independently guide teams and deliver successful customer acceptance.
