GFI Transport, a third-generation family-owned business with two locations, Mount Joy, PA and Bellefonte, PA . We are seeking a dedicated professional Truck Driver to join our Transportation Team as a Yard Jockey. The Yard jockey plays a vital role with our customer ensuring that trailers are moved efficiently and swiftly with the greatest care.
Position Requirements:
· Valid Class A CDL driver’s license (no restrictions)
· Ability to complete all paperwork required accurately and turn into dispatch office weekly
· Comply with all DOT regulations
· Strong Dependability and Effective Communication skills
· Friendly and Customer service -oriented attitude.
· Required to help cover other shifts due to illness or vacations
. Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers within the yard
. Strong backing skills to docks and in tight spaces
. Ability to work independantly
Work Schedule:
· Typical work week, Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
· May require some weekend coverage – prior notifications will be given, potential on call rotations
Compensation:
· Hourly Pay – typical 40 hour work week, overtime after 40hrs
