Glow Forth is a boutique luxury med spa and aesthetics studio in Slidell, Louisiana, serving the Northshore and Greater New Orleans area. Founded on an evidence-based, results-driven philosophy, we deliver premium skincare and wellness treatments in an elevated, by-appointment-only environment. We are currently expanding our injectable services and seeking an experienced, self-motivated nurse injector to join our team as an independent contractor.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity — not an employee position. The ideal candidate brings an established injection skill set, a refined aesthetic eye, and the professionalism to represent the Glow Forth brand with excellence. You will operate within your own scope of practice under Louisiana law, carry your own malpractice insurance, and maintain all licensing requirements independently. Appointment scheduling will be coordinated through Glow Forth's booking system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform neuromodulator treatments including Botox and Dysport for cosmetic and therapeutic indications
• Administer dermal filler treatments with a focus on natural-looking, facial-balanced results
• Conduct thorough client consultations, document treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
• Assess facial anatomy and apply advanced injection techniques aligned with current best practices
• Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, aftercare, and follow-up protocols
• Communicate professionally with studio staff and clients consistent with Glow Forth's luxury brand standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment at all times
• Manage your own appointment schedule in coordination with Glow Forth's booking team

REQUIREMENTS

• Active, unrestricted RN, NP, or PA license in the State of Louisiana — in good standing
• Demonstrated clinical experience with Botox, Dysport, and hyaluronic acid fillers (lip, cheek, jawline, under-eye, etc.)
• Strong foundation in facial balancing principles and aesthetic assessment
• Current, valid malpractice/professional liability insurance (must provide proof of coverage)
• Compliance with all applicable Louisiana state regulations governing injectable cosmetic services
• BLS/CPR certification and emergency protocol preparedness
• Polished, professional communication style and a client-first approach
• Ability to operate independently as a 1099 contractor — you are responsible for your own taxes, licensure, and insurance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced training in facial anatomy, combination treatments, or aesthetic medicine
• Experience in a med spa, dermatology, or cosmetic practice setting
• Established clientele or referral base in the Northshore/New Orleans area
• Familiarity with online booking platforms and digital client management
• Interest in growing a long-term partnership within an expanding wellness brand

COMPENSATION & CONTRACTOR STRUCTURE

Compensation is structured on a service-based split or flat fee arrangement — details discussed during the interview process. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are responsible for all self-employment taxes and providing your own supplies, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Glow Forth will provide the treatment space, booking infrastructure, and client base.

This position is a 1099 independent contractor engagement. Glow Forth Aesthetics & Wellness does not withhold taxes and does not provide employee benefits. All contractors must comply independently with Louisiana licensing, scope of practice, and insurance requirements.

Pay: $37.17 - $44.76 per hour
