Service Technician

Role Overview

As the team’s In-House Service Technician, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers' homes by diagnosing roofing issues, performing high-quality repairs, and delivering exceptional service in the field. You will be responsible for inspecting roofing systems, identifying problem areas, completing repairs, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will help maintain the trust of our customers place in us and reinforce our reputation for quality workmanship.

As an essential part of the team and reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will work to resolve roofing issues efficiently, enhance customer satisfaction, minimize callbacks, and ensure every repair reflects the quality, professionalism, and integrity that define our organization.

You will be part of a very collaborative, very agile team working collectively to fulfill our mission of saving our communities from unscrupulous contractors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform roof inspections to identify leaks, storm damage, and wear
• Complete repairs on asphalt shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems
• Replace damaged materials, flashing, vents, and seals
• Document work performed and communicate findings with the team
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Provide excellent customer service on job sites

Requirements

• Roofing or construction experience preferred (repair experience a plus)
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical labor
• Strict adherence to GF Sprague safety standards and OSHA regulations
