Logistics Team Lead

Your tasks

• Daily Operations: Manage resources and daily logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and distribution.
• Safety & 5S: Ensure a safe, organized, and clean working environment following 5S & Ergonomic methodology, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions by supporting safety initiatives.
• People Management: Lead & develop through active leadership, development plans, performance management and training matrices while living collective accountability. Compliance and Accuracy: Handle customs clearance and trade compliance including international paperwork. Maintain documentation standards for shipping, receiving, and inventory. Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transport carriers to ensure performance and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve performance through Operational Excellence/LEAN principles, methods, modules and elements. As well as CAPEX for new or existing equipment to increase capacity and/or improve effectiveness.
• Reporting & KPIs: Participate in Daily Management QDIP and Gemba to drive cross-functional execution while tracking daily performance. Ensure root cause analysis and counter measures are identified, executed and validated for effectiveness. Track and improve logistics KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Delivery Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and Warehouse Productivity.
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Mgt, Operations Management) from four-year college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Practical experience in warehouse operations and shipping preferred.
• APICS/CPIM preferred
