Gevity is a wellness workspace and social club in Austin built around four pillars: Movement, Recovery, Work, and Community. Housed in an 18,000-square-foot space in the Highland neighborhood, Gevity brings together a functional gym, group fitness and yoga, the Gevity Lab (saunas, cold plunge, red light therapy, and more), a full coworking space, and a courtyard built for connection, all under one roof. Members don't have to piece their life together across five different memberships. They come for one rhythm: move, focus, recover, connect.
Founded by Connor and Espoir Michalek and opened December 1, 2025, Gevity is for people who want to be ambitious and well, not one or the other.
About the Role:
We're hiring a full time Concierge to be the first face members and guests see when they walk in, and the person who makes sure their experience feels effortless every single time. This is a member-facing role at the heart of the club. If you love people, notice details, and take pride in making someone's day a little better, this is built for you.
What you'll own:
- Greet members and guests warmly and make every check-in feel personal, not transactional
- Answer member questions on memberships, scheduling, and club offerings accurately and confidently
- Handle day to day member requests and resolve small issues on the spot before they become bigger ones
- Keep the front desk and common areas running smoothly, organized, and on-brand
- Support membership sales by engaging prospective members and guiding them through the sign-up process
- Flag recurring member concerns or facility issues to the Assistant Club Director / Club Director
Non-negotiables:
- Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience
- CPR/AED certified, or willing to obtain certification before start date
- Comfortable using membership and scheduling software, basic tech proficiency required
- Able to stand and move for full shift duration, with occasional light lifting
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and ability to work a rotating schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

- Genuine people skills, someone who's warm without being fake and professional without being stiff
- Comfortable with a sales conversation, this role includes commission on new member signups
- Reliable and on time, this is a role people depend on
Compensation:
$20/hour base pay plus commission on every new member signup.
