Duties

- Handle data entry tasks related to patient demographics, insurance details, and medical records with precision
- Verify insurance coverage, process third-party billing, and assist with revenue cycle management activities
- Maintain internal communication channels to coordinate between medical staff and administrative team effectively
- Assist with health insurance knowledge applications to support patient billing and claims processing
- Support managed care processes by verifying patient eligibility and coordinating authorization requests
Experience
- Proven administrative experience within healthcare environments preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication tasks
- Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information
- Experience managing electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person
- Understanding of health insurance procedures, including third-party billing and revenue cycle management
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and correspondence purposes
- Prior experience in schedule management and internal communication within a healthcare setting is highly desirable
