Gettysburg Area School District is hiring for two (2) Supervisors of Special Education for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Special Education Supervisor provides leadership, coordination and supervision for special education programs and services serving students throughout the District. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Pennsylvania's Chapter 14 regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold a valid and active PA Supervisor of Special Education Certificate or Principal PK-12 certificate
- Bachelor's degree
- At least five (5) years of Special Education teaching experience
- Master's degree in Education, Special Education
- Experience and familiarity with PA Chapter 14, Chapter 16 (Gifted), and secondary transition mandates
- Experience with monitoring and interpreting data and evaluation reports.
- Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills
