We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Account Director to join our team in the US!
Role Purpose:
In this role, you will be part of our international strategy — managing one of our most strategic global customers in the automotive sector. You will collaborate closely with international stakeholders and internal expert teams, develop forward-looking IT strategies, and actively shape digital transformation.
What to expect:
- Global Account Ownership: Lead and expand international collaboration with a global key account in the automotive sector — across regions, business units, and service lines.
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and approach potential new customers with an international footprint, in close alignment with our local sales teams.
- Tailored IT Solutions Sales: Drive sales of customized IT services, focusing on Digital Workplace, Cloud, Field Services, and Security.
- Network Building: Develop and maintain a strong network on a global scale – internally and externally.
- Up- and Cross-Selling: Identify additional business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with Bid Managers, Solution Architects, and Service Delivery teams to ensure high-quality proposals and execution.
- Global Customer Journey Ownership: Ensure consistent and high-quality customer experience across all regions.
- Sales Performance Management: Analyse key sales KPIs and develop appropriate measures to achieve targets.
What we expect from you:
- Several years of experience in IT solution sales, ideally within Digital Workplace, Cloud, Security, or Field Services.
- In-depth understanding of the automotive industry and proven experience managing international enterprise customers.
- Experience steering global sales processes and collaborating with international stakeholders.
- Ability to position complex IT services strategically and consultatively.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and confident with data-driven sales management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including C-level.
- Strategic mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Strong intercultural competence and experience working with globally distributed teams.
- High level of initiative, structure, and result orientation.
- True team player able to align diverse interests.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
