Position Overview
The Regional Vice President, Business Development is responsible for achieving annual new business bookings targets within an assigned geographic territory, focused on hospitals and physician groups. This role drives full-cycle sales execution—from pipeline development through contract close—while cultivating strategic C-suite relationships across the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) landscape.
The assigned territory is the Southwest region (Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi) and is subject to change at the Company’s discretion. Sales outside the core region may occur when no other VP is engaged in the account and with approval from the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Sales Execution

Own full lifecycle sales process: lead generation, qualification, scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and closing

Develop and maintain a sustainable pipeline to meet or exceed annual bookings targets

Manage customer relationships from initial outreach through contract execution

Develop add-on business within existing client accounts

Lead value-based, consultative conversations with C-level decision makers
Strategic Account Development

Build and execute regional sales strategy and methodology

Develop detailed strategic account plans aligned with client needs

Collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure operational feasibility and accurate pricing

Partner with Legal on contract preparation and execution
CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate and detailed records in Salesforce (calls, visits, emails, pipeline status)

Provide regular forecasting, activity reporting, and strategic feedback to leadership
Marketing & Industry Engagement

Support RFP responses, proposals, case studies, and white papers

Identify regional marketing opportunities and emerging product/service needs

Represent GetixHealth at industry conferences and trade events

Enhance brand visibility and strengthen executive-level relationships
Compliance & Leadership Alignment

Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards

Partner with executive leadership (CEO, President, CFO, CRO) to drive growth initiatives

Travel as required throughout assigned territory
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required (Master’s preferred)

10 years of healthcare revenue cycle management sales experience

Demonstrated success selling into hospitals and physician groups

Proven ability to engage C-suite healthcare executives

Strong knowledge of hospital and physician RCM services (1st Party preferred)

CRCR certification preferred

Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
