Interventional Cardiology & Endovascular Coding Specialist (Remote)

📍 Remote | 💼 Full-Time | 💰 $28–$29/hr Quarterly Bonus

GetixHealth is seeking a CIRCC-certified Interventional Cardiology & Endovascular Coding Specialist to support complex, high-acuity cardiology and endovascular procedures. This role is ideal for experienced coders who enjoy specialty-level work, quality-driven environments, and the flexibility of remote coding.

You’ll work with detailed clinical documentation, partner with providers, and ensure coding accuracy that directly supports compliant reimbursement and patient care.

• Review EHR documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes
• Code complex interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures, including open surgery
• Ensure proper code selection and sequencing per AMA, CMS, and client guidelines
• Submit compliant provider queries when documentation clarification is needed
• Meet established quality and productivity benchmarks
• Support coding denials and participate in monthly QA reviews
• Provide training and mentoring support to coding staff as assigned
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional coding standards

Required:

• CIRCC certification (required)
• One of the following: CCS, RHIT, or CPC
• 2 years of recent experience in:
• Interventional cardiology
• Endovascular coding (including open procedures)
• 1 year of experience with:
• QA reviews
• Training or mentoring coders
• Hands-on experience with EPIC EHR
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment coding assessment

Preferred:

• Acute care hospital coding experience
• Familiarity with payer- and client-specific guidelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• $28.00 – $29.00/hour, based on experience
