What You'll Be Doing

Daily Cabin Upkeep & Turnovers

• Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure cabins are guest-ready.
• Replenish supplies and report damages or needed replacements.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to promptly address maintenance issues.

Grounds Maintenance

• Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and raking.
• Keep the property neat and inviting by removing trash and debris from cabin sites and common areas.

Spa & Hot Tub Equipment

• Clean, balance chemicals, and maintain filters for hot tubs and spa equipment.
• Ensure water features are safe and operational for guest enjoyment.

Systems Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and more.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and determine when professional contractors are needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Wintertime Maintenance

• Remove snow and ice from driveways, walkways, and cabin access areas using appropriate equipment.
• Winterize systems to protect pipes, HVAC, and hot tubs from freezing.
• Respond to weather-related emergencies to ensure safe access and operations.

General Duties

• Work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining communication with the property manager.
• Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Document completed work, issues found, and supplies used.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping, or handyman work (cabin/resort experience preferred).
• Working knowledge of HVAC, basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters, gauges, or app-based HVAC diagnostics.
• Ability to operate grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and snowplows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working independently.
• Physical fitness to handle lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible availability, including adjustments for winter storms or high-occupancy periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC basics, pool/spa maintenance) are a plus but not required.
