Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds.
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Handle animals safely and effectively, using proper restraint techniques when necessary.
• Assist in educating pet owners on proper pet care practices, including brushing techniques and skin care.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming 1-2 years
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and pet care practices is essential.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately; experience with animal restraint is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger pets or equipment.
• Certifications in dog training or additional pet care qualifications are desirable but not required.
