Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with experience operating various warehouse equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, as well as maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including counterbalance forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners for efficient order picking and materials handling.
- Load and unload shipments accurately while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are properly documented and stored.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, moving products throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and support warehouse management systems.
- Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors to complete tasks effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment operation (e.g., cranes, forklifts).
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is advantageous.
