Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain automated optical inspection equipment to identify defects or inconsistencies in medical components.
- Review and interpret imaging data, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot inspection issues and optimize system performance.
- Maintain detailed logs of inspections, equipment calibration, and maintenance activities.
- Support compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, and ensure all procedures align with medical office protocols.
- Assist in training new team members on optical inspection procedures and system operation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with optical systems or optical inspection equipment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmology enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Experience working within a medical office environment or clinic setting is advantageous.
