Position: Accountant
Your Impact

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our projects by overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration. Your Responsibilities
- Manage all financial, project/program, and grants accounting functions, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Forecast organizational cash flow and collaborate with senior leadership to optimize program operations.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements across all financial reporting.
- Conduct regular data analysis to produce accurate financial reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate audit activities and ensure accuracy and effectiveness in financial procedures.
- Facilitate communication and maintain positive relationships with vendors, monitors, and board staff.
- Lead initiatives to enhance internal communication and strengthen teamwork within the finance team.
- Develop and implement training programs to leverage the strengths of the finance team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including grant accounting, budget preparation, and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
