We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Instructional Designers (IDs) to develop and support engaging online courses. You will be responsible for various technical aspects of course design and delivery, ensuring a seamless learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities
Populate course sections within the learning management system and update content as needed
Assure the full functionality of all course elements and identify/correct errors
Offer feedback on course design and support subject matter experts and team members on technical issues
Stay updated on educational technologies and best practices for technology-supported online pedagogy
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required
Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to develop and deliver online content
Technological Expertise: Serve as the point person for technological issues during course development and delivery
Expertise: Advise team members on the appropriate use of technology to support student learning
Project Implementation: Complete work on deadline to ensure timely delivery of course content
Advanced Language/Writing Skills: Experience with editing and proofreading college-level English
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, in English, Communication, or humanities
Experience with Microsoft products, MAC OS, rapid authoring tools, and learning management systems is highly desirable
