Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect

Introduction:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient AWS/Azure cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Design and manage cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, load balancers, DNS, and firewalls.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement cloud security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, availability, and cost.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, security, and production issues.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, database, and infrastructure teams.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation plans.
- Establish cloud governance and operational best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud engineering teams.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, encryption, certificates, and secrets management.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
