What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at Get A Grip Resurfacing?
Position: Technician who will spray countertops, cabinets, bathtubs and shower surrounds, and provide customer service.
Description:
· Spray customer orders as necessary, including but not limited to, countertops, cabinets, bathtubs and shower surrounds.
· Maintains a clean workspace, including maintaining all equipment as necessary and protects customer work areas from overspray or other damage.
· Spray warehouse customer orders.
· Acts in a safe manner at all times, adheres to all safety requirements of Get A Grip (including wearing a respirator), and other safety requirements of OSHA and other governmental or municipal agencies.
· Maintains a clean and safe vehicle, including adequate vehicle inventory of standard equipment and supplies for customer orders.
· Has knowledge of all Get A Grip products and services.
· Works as a team with other staff and technicians
· Trains new technicians as required.
· Other duties as required.
Education/Experience Required:
-High school degree or equivalent preferred. Experience in the trades preferred.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Enthusiasm, honesty, flexibility and good work ethic, including ability to work independently.
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills.
Software Experience:
-Email experience preferred.
Hours: 40 hours/week during regular business hours.
