What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM ProgrammerPlant 2 position at Gestamp?
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates inspection activity and operates/programs CMM to collect dimensional data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Responsible for writing and maintaining CMM programs with provided data
2.Collects data from the checking fixture according to the control plan.
3. Runs validation and verification routines for production tools such as check fixtures, manual gauges, etc.
4. Report any non-conformance detected on the production process to the Quality/Manufacturing Engineer.
5. Identify potential causes for process variation.
6. Responsible for dimensional control verification.
7. Support operation metrics for Pp and PpK.
8. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of checking fixtures.
9. Participation and cooperation in answering questions and providing information for internal and external audits regarding or related to ISO 9001/IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer standards.
10. GOM experience preferred
11. GD&T experience preferred
12. Any other duty as deemed necessary or appropriate.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Associates Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with PC-DMIS, MetroLogic or other CMM software.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Good skills with MSOffice.
2. Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment.
3. Good knowledge of SPC and GD&T.
