Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team.
Responsibilities
- First Point of contact for office (phone, email and in-person)
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and other supporting documents
- Efiling in Superior and Probate Courts
- Manage day to day office operations including ordering office supplies
- Maintains Financial Records- Office Accounts, Clients Fund Account and Estate Accounts writing all checks and balancing monthly bank statements
Qualifications
- Previous legal administrative experience is highly preferred
- 1-3 years Estate Administration experience is preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
