Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods, materials, and equipment efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving, load handling, and vehicle maintenance will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport materials and goods.
• Load and unload cargo using manual or mechanical methods, ensuring secure placement and compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records throughout each shift.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical aids or manual effort to handle bulky or heavy loads efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to promote safe driving practices at all times.

Skills

• Strong driving skills with experience operating manual transmission vehicles and heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment.
• Proven ability to load & unload cargo safely using appropriate techniques for different truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, and dump trucks.
• Excellent knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Experience with delivery driving in fast-paced environments with a focus on punctuality and customer service excellence.
