As the face of Gerrit’s Appliance, you'll play a key role on our delivery and installation team at our Wyoming location. As a Delivery & Installation Specialist, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Work as a team, sharing equal parts of the workload
- Safely deliver appliances and load/unload trucks
- Respect, protect, and thoroughly clean up customer homes
- Remove old appliance(s)
- Move appliances into homes with superior care and unpack appliances
- Hook up appliances to water lines, gas lines, venting material, and/or electrical connections
- Maintain vehicles, supplies, and tools, keeping them clean, organized, and secure at all times
Gerrit’s looks for Delivery & Installation Specialists who have the following:
- High School Graduate and at least 18 years old
- Knowledge and experience using hand and power tools
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Exceptional customer service skills and friendly personality
- Excellent safety record as well as commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to move into tight spaces and up and down stairways
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 100 pounds
- Ability to exercise sound judgment skills and solve problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and enjoys working with people
- Chauffeur/CDL License – preferred
