Gerould’s Professional Pharmacy, Inc. is a locally owned, independent retail pharmacy that has proudly served our community for over 75 years. We are seeking motivated, patient-focused Retail Pharmacists for both full-time and part-time positions at our Horseheads and Corning, New York locations. Position Responsibilities
- Provide safe, accurate, and efficient prescription processing and dispensing.
- Counsel patients on medications, proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with patients and the local community.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the proper handling and storage of medications.
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active New York State Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- A customer-focused attitude and a desire to provide personalized care in an independent pharmacy setting.
- Availability and willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and a commitment to helping meet the scheduling needs of our pharmacies are essential.
