Ironworks Hotel is a boutique hotel located near the Keystone Fashion Mall in north Indianapolis and is inspired by America’s industrial heritage. As the Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will ensure the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. As the Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will ensure the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. You play an important role for a unique experience for each of our guests every day.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
- Review daily inventory of rooms, arrivals, and departures.
- Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.
- Cleaning of hotel rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby, and common areas.
- Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.
- Comply with all hotel safety guidelines.
- Pick up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible.
- May perform similar duties as requested by the team leader.
Requirements
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Housekeeping and customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
