Gero, Evaul & McCloskey is a boutique accounting firm located in Plantation, FL. We are a dynamic team of approximately 12 people. Responsibilities:

- Provide front desk reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls.

- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and events.

- Coordinate and initiate Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google, and similar remote meetings.

- Provide administrative support to the team, such as preparing documents, filing, and data entry.

- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer support.

- Manage calendars and schedule appointments for partners.

- Maintain organized and efficient office operations.

- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.

-Utilize computer literacy skills to create and edit documents and spreadsheets.

-Assisting with processing and sending tax returns, payroll, and client invoicing.

-Interact with clients and maintain professional relationships.

- Process incoming and outgoing mail packages, as well as tracking USPS, FedEx, and other carriers.

-Receive and distribute mail, fax messages, and DHL, UPS and FedEx packages.

-Responsible for printing, scanning, copying and filing administrative records.

-Place orders for office and kitchen supplies and replenish stock as needed.

-Upkeep and maintenance of the common areas, such as the reception area, conference rooms, photocopying/work areas and kitchen.

-Greeted all clients and visitors, ensuring they received a great first impression of the company.

-Other duties may be assigned.

Experience:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
