Our client is seeking a QC R&D Lab Manager who will be responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operations of a research and development laboratory. This role willl provide technical and managerial leadership to ensure high-quality analytical development, method validation, and laboratory compliance.
Please note: For confidentiality purposes, this position is not located in Blue Bell. The role is based in the tri-state area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of scientists and analysts within the R&D laboratory, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for chromatographic and analytical techniques including LC, GC, and Dissolution.
- Ensure accurate and compliant use of Empower software for data acquisition, processing, and reporting.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage laboratory projects to meet development timelines and business goals.
- Review, approve, and author technical documentation including protocols, validation reports, SOPs, and development reports.
- Ensure laboratory operations comply with applicable GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, materials, budgets, and external vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Hands on expertise in LC, GC, Dissolution, and chromatographic method development and validation.
- 7 years of supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead and mentor senior-level scientists and analysts.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
