Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure floors, carpets, and surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Assist with light cooking or meal preparation if required to support household needs
- Manage heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks
- Maintain proper sanitation standards across all areas to promote health and safety
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to meet their specific cleaning preferences and needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities
- Prior experience in outdoor work environments or with janitorial duties is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times
