What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Program Aide (Kennedy Middle School) position at Germantown School District?
The Germantown School District is looking for dedicated individuals to work with our students as a Special Education Aide (paraprofessional). We have an opening at Kennedy Middle School . This position is considered part-time. The role would require five workdays per week. This candidate will work closely with the Special Education teacher to provide classroom support and services to students to increase their academic and social goals. The candidate will assist students with their self-care and personal hygiene, including toileting if needed, as well as provide instructional support to the classroom teacher. Essential skills include the ability to build positive rapport with students, follow teacher-directed behavior management techniques, assist students in adaptive classes when necessary, and communicate with teachers on individual student success or concerns.
