What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygiene Adjunct (Summer and Fall 2026) position at Germanna Community College?
The Dental Hygiene Department at Germanna Community College is currently seeking didactic and clinical adjunct professors for face-to-face teaching assignments to serve in the following areas:
Pharmacology and Dental Hygiene III. This role includes the supervision of dental hygiene students during the provision of comprehensive dental hygiene care.
Roles in both programs include the opportunity for teaching didactic portions of the curriculum as expertise in particular subjects may be needed.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Registered Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor’s degree
- Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching (will be provided by the college)
- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools
- Prior teaching experience
- Work experience in the field
- Experience with online teaching
- Master’s of Science
