Germain Automotive Partnership is seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Service Greeter to join our automotive service tea at Germain Lexus of Dublin.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and positive customer experience. As the first point of contact for our service guests, the Service Greeter plays a critical role in setting the tone for every customer visit.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the service department.
Position Overview
The Service Greeter is responsible for welcoming customers as they arrive for service appointments, assisting with the check-in and vehicle flow process, and providing operational support throughout the service department. This role also assists with cashiering responsibilities, customer communication, vehicle coordination, and maintaining a clean and organized service environment.
The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, professional appearance, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset.
Hours and Pay:
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Rate of Pay $16.00 - $17.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival to the service department
- Assist customers in and out of their vehicles and help facilitate the check-in process
- Communicate customer arrival information to service advisors and management
- Assist with transferring personal belongings between customer vehicles when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer areas
- Shuttle customers safely and professionally as required
- Move and stage customer vehicles during service pick-up and delivery
- Assist with basic vehicle readiness tasks, including checking and adjusting tire pressure
- Support customers with general questions and direct them to the appropriate department personnel
- Provide courteous cashier assistance, including reviewing invoices and processing payments
- Accurately handle cash, credit card, and check transactions while maintaining daily cash drawer reconciliation
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate
- Provide administrative and clerical support to service department staff as needed
- Assist with phone coverage and serve as backup support for dealership switchboard operations
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Support dealership safety standards and operational procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

- Prior automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required
- Cash handling and customer-facing experience preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Evening availability required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report review
