Gerkin Windows and Doors, a manufacturer of high-performance vinyl and aluminum windows and storm doors, is seeking qualified applicants for a Receptionist position at our facility in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
This position is part of an office support team and serves as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, employees, and other visitors. The successful candidate will provide professional front-desk coverage while assisting with shipping related paperwork and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system
- Greet and assist visitors, walk-in applicants, customers, and vendors
- Respond professionally to inquiries received by phone, email, and in person
- Prepare, organize, file, and distribute shipping documents and related paperwork
- Support office and administrative functions across the organization
- Maintain an organized, professional reception and front-office area
- Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
The idea candidate will:
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be professional, dependable, organized, and detail orientated
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Be capable of managing multiple priorities and interruptions while maintaining accuracy
- Have experience operating a multi-line phone system
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
