About the Role
We’re hiring a Plant Operator/Maintenance team member to help maintain safe and efficient plant operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, operate equipment, and keep the work environment clean, safe, and organized.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on the quarry plant
Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues within the plant
Clean and clear debris from under conveyors and around plant equipment to ensure safety and prevent failures
Lubricate and grease conveyors and other moving parts to maintain efficient operation
Safely operate skid steers, forklifts, small loaders, and other heavy equipment as needed to support operations
Transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout the plant as required
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and removing debris
Ensure the work area is free of hazards and meets safety standards
Maintain regular in-person attendance
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Safely access and navigate the facility, including climbing and descending ladders
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
What You Bring to the Table
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Ability to stick weld and use cutting torch
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
