Business Development Representative, Worcester, MA or Western MA
Target Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 base $40,000 target variable, uncapped bonus structure (~$100,000 OTE)
America is aging fast. The 85 population is one of the fastest growing age groups in the country, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities are seeing demand they haven't seen in years, and the DME market keeps expanding right alongside it.
Geriatric Medical & Surgical Supply has been delivering dependability to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, DME providers, and home care agencies since 1945. We're a fourth-generation, family-run distributor.
We're hiring a Business Development Representative to manage and grow the territory covering western and central Massachusetts.
What you'll do
- Own a defined book of accounts. New business you close stays yours to grow.
- Prospect, qualify, and close net-new accounts, and reactivate dormant accounts.
- Grow revenue within your existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell across incontinence, wound care, nutritionals, and more.
- Run your pipeline through our CRM and reporting tools to spot opportunities.
- Work closely with our Director of Marketing & Business Development on strategy, targeting, and messaging.
What you bring
- Comfortable with a high volume of in-person selling and customer outreach.
- Strong organization and follow-through. You can manage a large, active book without letting things slip.
- The confidence to run a discovery call, talk pricing, and close, with support from leadership when you need it.
- This is a field sales role. A valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to travel roughly 80% of the time across the territory.
- A results-oriented mindset and the persistence to build long-term relationships.
- Prior sales experience is a plus but not required.
This is a field-based role covering the territory, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Business Development.
