What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Superintendent position at Gerelco Electrical Contractors?
Gerelco is searching for an Electrical Superintendent that has experience with large commercial jobs.

Essential Functions
- Leads and completes the project in accordance with supplied blueprints, diagrams and/or instructions provided and to quality standards in accordance to applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Responsible to ensure that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are safeguarded in a manner that prevents their unauthorized use or removal from the project site.
- Ensures team cooperation with other trades and or the General Contractor on the site.
- Ensures that materials and supplies on the project are stored in a neat and orderly fashion and that the job site is picked up before leaving each day.
- Provides instruction and guidance to reporting employees that enables them to work safely and efficiently.
- Participates in the hiring, termination, training, counseling, and coaching of all employees reporting to him/her.
Required Education and Experience
- Requires a minimum of 7 years trade experience.
- Employee must have and maintain an OSHA 30 certification.
- Employee should have and maintain a Journeyman’s Card
- Employee must have and maintain a clean, valid Florida Driver’s license.
- Must have experience and be able to perform all of the duties required of the positions under them.
