Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, maintenance, and component replacements.
- Execute wheel alignments and suspension adjustments to manufacturer specifications for optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and welding repairs as needed.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems is essential.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, powertrain work, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures across various systems including transmissions and automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information accurately.
