What Your Purpose Will Be
To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and establishing a productive, high performing, and safety conscious working environment. The major role is to focus on all aspects related to safety, environmental, production, cost, quality, and people management.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise maintenance operations across utilities, overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and building systems.
- Drive predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Train and coach team members in troubleshooting, safety, and continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Kaizen, QIS, Six Sigma).
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operations and equipment reliability.
- Conduct performance audits, trend analysis, and implement corrective action plans.
- Administer safety programs and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Utilize Maintenance Management Software and CAD tools for planning and documentation.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) OR 7 years of relevant electrical experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, motors, transformers, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with HVAC, baghouses, switch yards, and truck scale systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and maintenance software tools.
- A leadership mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and team development.
