Gerber Life Insurance is seeking an Agency Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Fremont, Michigan. This is an onsite position based at our Fremont, MI home office.

In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality and effectiveness of systems that support our agency operations. You will be involved in testing system updates and upgrades across platforms such as the Agency Portal, VUE, Licensing Portal, Salesforce, OnBase, and IVR. You’ll also help develop business requirements and test cases, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.

What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life of a Quality Assurance Analyst

• Assist with developing and reviewing business and system requirements and project scope statements.
• Create, document, and maintain detailed test cases for system changes, enhancements, and new initiatives.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across applicable system environments.
• Track, test, and support the completion of enhancement and defect tickets using tools such as JIRA, PR, ClickUp, and Client Care.
• Test system updates, upgrades, enhancements, and defects across platforms supporting agency operations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to identify, document, and resolve system or process issues.
• Support various departments with projects, initiatives, system releases, and operational improvements.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and assist with developing and implementing system and process improvements.
• Collaborate with GLIC IT, ITSD, CSSI, Agency Business Analysis, Commission Analysis, and Program teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with applicable company policies and standards.

Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software systems.
• Experience developing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience developing and documenting test cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and navigate new systems.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and collaborate with multiple teams to support resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of progressive experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) or Business Analyst (BA) capacity.
• Insurance industry knowledge or experience.
• Knowledge of Gerber Life systems, including VUE, Agent Portal, Salesforce, and OnBase.
• CTFL certification.

Pay: $55,200.00 - $60,000.00 per year
