Operations Associate

Gerber Kawasaki is one of the fastest-growing and most influential independent Wealth and Investment Management firms in the country. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled Operations Associate to support our Data Management and Operations teams. and firm leadership while ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our office and operational systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong data management experience, preferably within Orion Advisor Tech, who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and is comfortable working with confidential financial data and operational systems. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting system integrations, and improving operational workflows across the firm.

Salary: $85K DOE, and technical depth

This role is 100% in office 5 days/week, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

Core Systems & Data Management

·        Serve as a power user of our portfolio management platforms, including Orion Advisor Tech

·        Oversee daily data reconciliation, performance reporting, and account billing processes

·        Maintain accuracy and integrity across portfolio accounting and reporting systems

·        Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies across systems

·        Ensure accuracy and integrity across portfolio accounting and reporting systems

CRM & Workflow Optimization

·        Maintain and enhance Salesforce records, workflows, automations, and reporting

·        Build dashboards and reports to support advisors and firm leadership

·        Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual work and increase efficiency

Firm Operations Support

·        Assist with payroll-related data coordination and technology integrations

·        Collaborate with vendors to ensure systems communicate accurately and reliably

·        Support operational data governance and confidentiality standards

Advisor & Client Service Support

·        Act as a key internal resource for advisor teams

·        Troubleshoot operational and technology issues that impact client service and internal workflows

Special Projects & Growth Initiatives

·        Support technology migrations and platform enhancements

·        Assist with process improvements as the firm continues to scale

·        Help evaluate and implement new fintech tools

Minimum Qualifications

·         3 years of experience in financial services operations, fintech, or data-related roles

·        Strong data management and reconciliation experience

·        Experience working with confidential financial and client data

·        Comfortable working across multiple technology platforms

·        Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Highly Preferred Qualifications

·        Hands-on experience with Orion Advisor Tech

·        Experience with Salesforce (Certified Associate or Administrator a plus)

·        Experience with data automation, systems integrations, or workflow optimization

·        Experience within an RIA, wealth management firm, or financial services environment
