POSITION SUMMARY- Inventory Control Associate – Cycle Counter: This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts throughout the facility; ensuring inventory is accurate and resolving discrepancies which may arise.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Count and verify accuracy of product in assigned inventory locations using RF scanner equipment
• Assist in reconciling variances brought forth through cycle counting
• Resolve discrepancies which arise during cycle counts, by way of product transfer, relocation, or removing/replacing damaged items
• Re-box damaged cartons found in inventory locations, utilizing raw materials/boxes to rework and label maker to reprint carton labels
• Actively implement 5S principles during cycle counting process (Sort, Straighten, Sustain, Sweep, Standardize)
• Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Ability to use computer to perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts
• Observe and follow safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and lift cartons up to 25 lbs
  
  

Position Qualification Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of prior warehouse experience preferred, related to inventory control

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work closely with a large, fast-paced team
• Exceptional organization skills and attention-to-detail
• Strong Mathematical skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Lift knowledge
