Responsibilities

- Assist with cake decorating, pastry preparation, and other food presentation tasks as needed
- Package finished products efficiently for retail or catering purposes while maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and production areas in compliance with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, freezers, and utensils, ensuring proper knife skills are utilized
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of products for customers or events
- Assist in catering or Ice Cream Store service as required, providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients or guests
Experience
- Prior experience in food production, bakery, pastry arts, or culinary environments is a minimum requrement
- Background in cake decorating, baking, and pastry work is necessary
- Experience with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices is essential
- Familiarity with food handling regulations within the food industry or restaurant settings is advantageous
