Duties

  • Answer incoming calls promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times
  • Assist patients by gathering necessary information using clear communication and active listening skills
  • Provide accurate information regarding medical services, appointment scheduling, and insurance procedures
  • Enter patient data efficiently into electronic health record systems with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to confirm appointments and relay important messages or updates
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Follow up with patients as needed to ensure their questions are addressed and their needs are met
  • Bilingual abilities are beneficial to serve diverse patient populations effectively

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient inquiries and documentation
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and familiarity with healthcare software systems
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare call center is advantageous but not required
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey information clearly and empathetically over the phone
  • Demonstrated customer service expertise with a focus on professionalism and patience
  • Analysis skills to assess patient needs quickly and direct them appropriately while managing multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
