GEOTEK, a market leader in high-performance, engineered pultruded composite structural solutions, is looking for high-potential, highly motivated engineering interns to join our engineering team. As an engineering intern, you will support all areas of our business—from manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement, to new product development, research and development, and testing. Working in partnership with other engineers and depending on assignment, primary duties may include on-floor process support, root cause investigation and corrective action, and other engineering duties as assigned.
This assignment supports Facilities Engineering and Maintenance, assisting with facility improvements, equipment evaluations, maintenance planning, and engineering documentation.
Responsibilities

Assist with facilities engineering projects and maintenance improvement efforts.

Support preventive maintenance planning, equipment evaluations, and data collection.

Update CAD models, layouts, and engineering drawings (ANSI Y14.5).

Assist with troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and corrective action.

Participate in testing, facility upgrades, and engineering documentation.

Support production, prototype procurement, and other engineering tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or another engineering-related field.

Minimum GPA: 3.0.

Interest in facilities engineering, maintenance systems, and hands-on work.

SolidWorks experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work safely in a plant environment.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and mechanical systems is beneficial.

Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Previous technical or engineering experience preferred.
