The company was founded in 1990 to manufacture and market Common Sense Fencing and other pultruded fiberglass products. Early on GEOTEK also began producing utility composite crossarms for Pultruded Utility Products, Inc., a company it acquired in 2000 and renamed Pultruded Utility Products International (PUPI) to reflect the global opportunity for these products. PUPI (pronounced “puppy”) is a brand of GEOTEK. Using proprietary processes and several patented inventions, GEOTEK manufactures and distributes engineered fiberglass composites that are used by the transmission and distribution power lines and substations. The company is well positioned for sustained growth and profitability through market expansion and new product offerings.

- Weekend Nights | Friday-Sunday | 6:00PM-6:30AM
- $3.00/hour shift differential
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
GEOTEK's compensation model is skill-based, and starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position breaks down as follows:
- Level 1: $22.50
- Level 2: $23.18 - $24.50
- Level 3: $25.50 - $26.50
- Level 4: $27.30 - $28.50
Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitors all chemical levels & Inventory for MVP systems.
- HMI controls.
- Veil applications and coating.
- Responsible for all chemical handling & preparing chemicals for operations.
- Follows work instructions & procedures.
- Assists in all areas of Filament Winding, and other plant areas as production demands.
- Provides support in repaints for repairs.
- Identifies problems and reports issues to team leaders.
- Using Over Head Cranes to move products and parts.
- Documenting and Submitting of all required paperwork.
- Work while paying attention to detail
- Able to read and write the English language.
- Able to measure in grams/kilos.
- Previous chemical mixing or coating experience (preferred).
- Able to work with minimal Supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Strong emphasis on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 10 hours a day.
- Work with or around power tools and chemicals.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
